I am friendly and caring
I wonder if I'm able to teach French to first graders
I hear footsteps outside the classroom
I see life as a bless gift
I want to make this classroom fun
I am friendly and caring
I pretend to not like others
I feel loved by others
I touch the heart of others
I worry if something wrong is going to happen
I cry when I see my students sad
I am friendly and caring
I understand life is not easy
I say everyone to do their homework
I dream to help everyone's learning
I try to teach in patience
I hope everything goes well
I am life and friendly

"This Is NOT A Drill"
I chose the book, This Is NOT A Drill, because the title interested me. My topic was violence and the title of the book it just hooked me. I started reading it yesterday, and as soon as I started reading it, the book started with violence. An elementary teacher was at a hospital, because a man pointed a gun at her head and pulled the trigger. I chose the book because the cover its an elementary classroom with an elementary desk, with a view through a window with a bullet hole. The glass is shattered and the desk is by itself. I can predict from the title, that the book its going to be about a drill, at a school, that went wrong. Since, in the cover, the window is shattered, I can also predict that the book is going to be about someone who is trying to kidnapped elementary students. As I said, I chose this book because the title and the cover got my attention. Also, the cover of the book its an intense image, which it made me, immediately, start making predictions.

The Hero
"A hero is an ordinary individual who finds strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles." - Christopher Reeve
A hero does not, necessary, have to be a famous person. A hero is a person who defines the words "I'll give my life to save you". In the quote, I agree with a hero could be an ordinary person because it can. Also, I agree with, it can overcome obstacles because that is the definition of a hero. My mother is my hero. She is the one who tells me,"You are my son, and I'll give my life to save you". I love my mom. She is the one who wakes me up every morning to go to school. She is the one who helps me with my problems and gives me advice. She is the one who, when I arrive home she has dinner ready. Even though I'm not hungry, she keeps telling me that dinner is ready and the food is hot. Sometimes, I imagine what would I do if my mother was not here with me. I give thanks to God for having the best mom that He has gave me. My mom is my hero because she gives me advice, when I need it the most, she helps me with all my problems by trying to find the best solutions, and she tells me that she will give her life to save me. I love my mother.

#5
In summer of 2011, three middle school students signed up for soccer. Their names were Vanessa, Deanna, and Omar. Out of the three students, Omar did not make it to the soccer team. Omar was depressed that he did not made it to the team, yet he was proud for Vanessa and Deanna, which were his best friends. Vanessa and Deanna were both forwards and they were the best of the girl's soccer team. They scored almost in every game they played. Omar always went to see them to cheer for them. The school's mascot was a live cougar. Because Vanessa's and Deanna's efforts, they made it to the finals. The school took the live cougar to the game, because that was the tradition. Omar went to the game, but he was bored because the first halve was not so much interesting. Omar was seating next to the cougar, and to keep himself entertained, he was talking to the cougar. The second halve started, and the game got real. Omar was talking to the cougar while enjoying the game. One minute left and the score was 0-0. Vanessa had the ball and she ran as fast as she could; she passed the ball to Deanna and she scored! Omar jumped with excitement and was cheering, while in the background a voice was heard and it stated, " She ran as fast as me".
